Hi everyone! My name is Amanda, and I am a 30 year old stay-at-home-mom to two adorable kids. I have always loved taking pictures, but have recently become interested in more than just taking pictures. With two small kids at home, I don't have time to take a class, but I am reading and practicing lots. Currently I am using a Canon Powershot S3 IS, but my dream is to get a DSLR. Maybe once I learn all I can learn from books and my current camera, I can talk my husband into buying me a DSLR. I also love playing around in Photoshop. I am the resident signature-maker over at my iVillage message board, and I love working with pictures, brushes and text.

I have another profile, henryrabbit, in the Moms community, so if you want to see some really cute kids you can check that out. I do take lots of pictures of my kids though, so you'll probably see more than you'd like of them here. I try to post only my better photographs here, whether of my children or other things.
