Description:
Yes the candle is bent. It was in the cupboard leaning across something and the hot weather was enough to weaken it into submission.

This shot makes me smile, with the candle bending one way and the flame going the other. The bottom half of the photo has vibrant colours that contrast really well, the plate against the wooden table is very strong. The candle flame glow against the background is brilliant, although the background on the right at the top is a bit distracting.

Oh, how artistic! That candle isn't defective, it's just got character!

I love the defective candle - has character. I like the way the flame seems to be compensating. I would have been tempted to repostion candle on table. As it is, the edge of table, although a lovely curve, actually splits the picture in half. The background is distracting... would have been stronger to have had a darker background. I like that the candle is not placed in the centre of the plate.

I love the warmth in this picture, and the quirky shapes made by the line of the candle and the edge of the table. The blue and white of the dish provides a pleasant contrast to the warm tones in the wooden table.
