It was my birthday recently and after weeks of pestering me asking "what do you want for your birthday", I finally came up with a solution. You see I have plenty of "stuff" and don't really need more....don't get me wrong, there is a list of stuff I really would like but since it is on the upper end of the $$$ scale, I don't think it will be coming any time soon. On that particular little wish list is:

1. A digital SLR camera (so it can take me another four years to figure out that it has macro capability).


2. A return trip to NZ or alternatively, Canada, Europe or Africa (I'm open to suggestions).


3. My landscaping to be completed by someone else other than me.


4. An acreage property that is close to civilisation but far enough away to feel like I'm in my own little world.


5. A new job.

He did buy me a LOVELY bunch of flowers on the day so I didn't feel I was missing out.

Anyway, to cut a long story down to medium size, we have decided to go on a short break away to a lovely little acreage property in NSW. It is in the Barrington Tops area and we will have the whole 168 acres to ourselves! It isn't too far from civilisation either so it will be a good test to see whether I can really hack not living in suburbia with the nearest shopping centre only 5 mins away. hehe
