licking my wounds. I should learn to grow some thicker skin. I wonder if this writing gig is right for me--if some of my more thought-out pieces are superficial and long-winded, what the hell would one say about a full manuscript of my work?

I know I'm late to this party, but sites like that one are there to purposely give bad, snarky, bitchy reviews--because that's how they get THEIR readers. Some will actually give credit where it's due, but some prefer to just be mean. Sorry you went thru this and I hope you're feeling better by now.
