In the past, I have joined social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, etc) simply because my friends asked me to. In every instance, I've given up on said site because I haven't felt like I'm able to connect with people whom I don't already know.
cre8buzz has been completely different from the get-go. With very little effort on my part (I joined the community that seemed best suited to my own interests), I've found a community in which I feel like I can make friends.
However, I'm so NOT interested in starting yet another blog. I have a blog for the everyday stuff (http://quirkyblogger.com). I have a blog for weight loss stuff (http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp?id=STEPHMSDIVA). I have a blog that's kept relatively private (http://quirkyblogger.livejournal.com).
So, until I figure out how to feed my actual blog into this, I'm posting this so that my blog section doesn't look so sad and empty.

hi, thanks for coming by. yep, i am in anchorage alaska. i grew up in the d.c. area, so as soon as i became of age, i wanted to go as far away as possible :) i found my way. on your post here, so agree about not wanting to have a bunch of different blogs. i have no desire or use for doing that. i really like the buzz so far. but i am still using the blogspot as my blog journal. not stopping now. and on buzz, i like highlighting a couple of things in the blog section to point the awesome readers to something of interest that i think is kinda cool. your brain is in the right place. it would drive me crazy to have more than one, and especially more than 2 blogs. is that like having multiple personalities? let's see, this one i write in on monday, this one i write in when i am angry, this one i write in when it is wednesday. ha, no way, i am never planning to do that. my blog is like wal-mart -- one stop shopping. if you come to my blog, everything and link is right there on it. less baggage that way, eh? opps, didn't mean to totally ramble your comment away, but your post struck a chord with me and i went sailing off on a tangent. good job. stay strong. stick with what you love and you will never be disappointed in that decision ultimatly. blessings this beautiful sunny day to you girl, kathleen :)
