Caleb's a normal 12 year old boy. He likes High School Musical, basketball, swimming and teasing his sister. Normal except that on June 1st he'll celebrate 2 years in remission from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. After 161 days in Room 17 at Kaiser Hospital, he's happy to be home now, participating in his normal 12 year old life.
On May 17th, I'll join others supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Hike for Discovery by hiking the Grand Canyon. While I'm extremely excited about seeing one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, it's even better knowing that my efforts will help in the fight against Leukemia. Over 75% of the funds raised go directly to support patient services and fund research for a cure, making the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society one of the best places for you to donate your money.
I hope you'll click on the link and view my Hike for Discovery page. While you're there, would you please make a contribution to help cure leukemia?
