Is overrated...

And underrated.

All things to all people, all the time, as it were, really.

We moms are miracle makers, saviors, and "ruiners" of teenage lives, but still we push on, always striving for "good enough" or better.

Enduring more judgment than Super Villains, and never daunted, we try to do the best for our families in every way, trudging along without an instruction book, and for the most part, things turn out alright.

We are strong enough to not help sometimes, in order to make our children into strong and capable adults in their own right, no matter how much it hurts us to see our children struggle, because we know it's the right thing to do.

We are soft enough to lend a snuggle whenever it is needed, and often when it isn't.

Sculpting the ideas and fostering the goals of our young.

To nurture with a gentle yet tough hand.

To discipline with love and understanding.

To be everything to another living being.

To raise the future of the world.
