Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper. It is much more fun to tear into a wrapped package than it is to just open a bagReal or Artificial tree?
Artificial. I don't like the mess of a real tree. Plus there are too many issues with allergies in our home. When do you put up the tree?
Whenever we find the time and ALL of us are actually home. We try to do it soon after Thanksgiving. My husband wanted to put it up before Thanksgiving last year because we were having people over and he wanted them to see it. I convinced him it was NOT supposed to be up yet and it would also take up room we needed for our guests. (he loves this holiday more than anyone i have ever met, he gets more excited than the kids)When do you take the tree down?
You're supposed to take it down??? Really??? My family seems to think it vanishes on it's own! I usually take it down (by myself) about half way through January when I have finally given up on anyone helping and I just can't stand looking at it anymore.Do you like Eggnog?

Wrapping paper or gift bags? I like paper best, I'm very in to wrapping using handmade altered art, bits and pieces of gift bags or wrap, and very big wide bows, and ties made with florist ribbon. Real or Artificial tree? Artifical, it's just easier with small kids in the house. But I love the smell of real, so I make sure we have very good candles that have pine scent around. When do you put up the tree? We started a tradition when we lived In pPhoenix and sent for my husbands parents across country for our wedding, which is Nov 27th. Since we wanted to celebrate and early X mas with them before they left, that tradition stuck. When do you take the tree down? Shortly after Christmas. I've been known to tear it down the day after on particular years when we had limited space. Do you like Eggnog? Well, I usually have like one glass of it all holiday, I don't actually really like it frankly, I just do it, I don't know why. I do like the specialty chocolate covered cherry milk though! Favorite Gift you received as a child? A huge three story, fully handmade and decorated dollhouse my mother soent a year building, staining, etc for me, she even had one of our neighbors wire it with lights, including a flashing fireplace, she built with cement and tiny pepples and rocks herself. All the photos on the wall were our own family photos and painting in miniscule. Do you have a nativity scene? No, I don't.I'm agnostic, but my daughter has a very sweet Precious Moments one she puts up in her room every year. Hardest person to buy for? No one. I always watch what they all are drawn to, or collect or say they like, and make sure I put extra thought in, I LOVE giving gifts, so it's fairly easy for me as long as I have the cash. Easiest person to buy for? Everyone! Worst Christmas gift ever received? Nothing comes to mind! Christmas Cards...Snail mail or E-mail? Oh Snail Mail of course! Who could pass up the chance to at least once a year send out some beautiful handwritten cards and letters, especially at this time of year? Favorite Christmas Movie? Meet Me in St Louis and White Christmas. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I shop all year. I like to be done by December. Have you ever 'recycled' a Christmas present? No, I have given unwanted or dulpicates to Goodwill. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Spiral Ham, Pecan Pie, Cookies, Muffaletta. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Colored retro pearl bulbs! Favorite Christmas Carol? Happy Christmas (War is Over)-Lennon's version, the best! Travel at Christmas or Stay Home? Stay home, and we host an early Christmas the weekend coming up at out house for family. Can you name Santa's Reindeer? Ad naseum with these two kids in the house! Do you have an Angel or a Star on top of your tree? Neither, we have an ice blue retro glass bauble top. Open the Presents Christmas Eve or Morning? Christmas Eve after we get back from the drive through light display. Christmas Day is for Santa and stockings. 22.Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Grinchy people, not enough tummy to eat as much as I want! Shopping...Mall or online? Mall? Ick. Speciality stores as local as we can, fair trade shops, and on line, we haven't stepped foot in a mall or wal mart type store in years.I especially love etsy, and starving artist art sales for gifts. Do you decorate outside for Christmas or just inside (or at all?) Inside, we have a very old Craftsman Bungalow that never had electric run outside. Favorite Christmas cookie? Any, cookies rule! 1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both... they open the bag and the present is wrapped as well... more excitement. The bags are also useful for carrying the presents in afterward especially for visitors. 2. Real or Artificial tree? Artificial. I agree too much mess from real ones. We used to have real ones when we were kids but only because we had a property full of them. 3. When do you put up the tree? Whenever I feel like it sometime between 1st Dec and 25th December. I try to get it up before my oldest daughter goes to visit her father so that she can do most of it & I just have to fix it up. 4. When do you take the tree down? It must come down before New Year. 5. Do you like Eggnog? I don't mind the eggnog you buy at the shops but I have never had home made eggnog. 6. Favorite Gift you received as a child? I bought it while she was with me and put it up in a cupboard when we got home (she was sleeping) and she has forgotten all about it. 10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? My ex used to buy stuff for the kitchen. 11. Christmas Cards...Snail mail or E-mail? Both... depends on where it is going. 12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Carol 13.
