Is it November already?

Seems like just yesterday it was Halloween.

Wait, oh yeah.

I need to post for my NaBloPoMo thing. I just returned from working out so my brain and muscles are jelly like substances, not suitable for use until fed chocolate. Lots, and lots of chocolate.

Halloween here at the messy household was great. And cold. Really. Really. Cold. We went to Mr. Messy’s work and trick or treated there. It’s great because it’s warm, and they also decorate all three floors the company owns in the building. Everyone has a bowl of candy at their desk and the kids get to run around. One guy was dressed like a pirate, and even had a real parrot. I got to hold the parrot, hehehe. Then we emerged out into the cold. Bur. The boys were Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones. They were last year as well. And we ran into the same teenage girls that just had to take their picture last year because they were so adorable. The girls chatted with the boys for a few minutes, giggled, gave them some of their candy and left to pillage other candy bowls. I think we have just the right amount of candy. Chica (who went as Major Flirt, complete with boots, eugh) will take what she can get. The boys are pickier. If someone tries to put candy in their bag they don’t like, they politely say “No thank you.” And keep moving down the road, lol.

Slobber loves playing Playhouse Disney dot com (yes I just wrote that out, lame, I know). He has found a Halloween clip on their that talks about a Lemony Yellow Sucker. Except when Slobber heard it the first time, he didn’t hear the work sucker. That’s right. He heard and “F” at the beginning of that word. From the other room I hear him repeating, “It’s a Lemony Yellow *ucker.” Great. Time for a phonics lesson. And maybe some ear cleaning. Might throw some hearing tests in with that if he didn’t just have them at the doctor a few months ago.

Ahhh, gotta love Halloween.
