Over the years, as a hypnotherapist I have put together a few relaxation recordings. This is one of 2 that is available with paid membership at www.smart-parenting.com. (The other is at bedtime to "Sleep Deep and awaken at the correct time.) Find a quiet place - do not do it while driving or operating machinery - and just let your self follow the suggestions. It runs around 17 minutes, the reason for this time length is to give people the opportunity for a 'power nap' - if you go much longer than 30 minutes physiological changes in the body, shift the blood flow from the brain to the intestines, thus giving you a groggy feeling if you go too much longer. Besides, grabbing 20 minutes for a power nap can be difficult enough. I'm making it free for the Cre8Buzz members. Please let me know what you think of it. It is available in the podcast section of my Cre8Buzz profile
It is great to hear so many wonderful responses to Smart Parenting and SleepTalk. Joane Goulding is a dear friend of mine and her daughter Michelle is simply amazing - considering she'd been written off by the medical profession.
Joane developed SleepTalk as a form of therapy. It has wonderful uses as therapy, but it also has amazing benefits without the therapy side. The reason I believe this is because as many as 90% of the kids who need therapy benefit just from the Foundation Statement - which is all about love.
So many parents return for the second appointment and say,"You know, when I left I really didn't think it would work, but I decided to try to do it anyway... I saw results almost straight away! It was amazing!"
It is wonderful to see parents when they return, a month or so later say that the do see improvements in their children, especially when it comes to confidence.
Just yesterday I had a mum and dad note that within a few days of starting the process, their son had started reading of his own accord and had just started taking care of his little sister.
It really makes my day when you hear these wonderful stories!
I just received an invitation to do a Webinar/Seminar at Women Internet Marketers:

Well I visited her site and was fascinated to see the focus on women but WIM is also We Include Men (30/70).
Diane will be opening her site soon... Here's what she says...
"Get Your FREE Tickets To Our First Ever 100% Online Internet Marketing & Personal Development Seminar Taking Place October 22-29th 2007! Plus FREE membership to a site created especially for Women running their own internet based business."
If you're a woman (or man) interested in making money online, the free seminar and website is well worth the look.
I'm still working out Cre8Buzz, the first of these sites I have joined. I still haven't sorted out things like how to add friends and especially how to make my site look as pretty as some of the mums here.
(If you are interested in SleepTalk or have looked at smart parenting or joined up do please add me as a friend, at least till I work it out:)
My what an interesting and talented bunch of mums you are. (Actually all mums have amazing talent, it's just a matter of recognizing it!)
My mum was one of my best friends, we used to talk about all sorts of weird and wonderful things and we would talk for hours.
Mum passed away a few years ago. I really miss her.
I'm not sure how I got here, but I'm glad I did. It has been great (gr8?) to be so quickly involved in this community cre8buzz. I have had such an interesting response as a bloke being in the mums section, I have decided I better wear a pair of sunnies to be more incognito!
But seriously, I would like to help mums and dads, and mostly their children. SleepTalk may be the singlemost important thing a parent can learn. It suits all parents and styles of parenting, in fact, it is of special help to children who have been adopted or in a blended families.
Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox - for the moment - the 90% of the ebook is free. In this manner in enables parents to see if it is for them, and I know that they probably have read all the preamble before getting into the practical side of it.
