OK, so due to the weather, my lips are chapped lately. I've managed to treat the annoying thing but I can't seem to get rid of the redness above my upper lip. So every now and then, my loving brother will tease me and say I look like I've been giving **jobs all night long.
In every other novel (I try not to be absolute in my opinions :P) I read that the hero saw the heroine's lips swollen from said job and is turned on.
And my question is: why do guys like when our lips look like that? It's beyond me...

Anybody that knows me, knows I have trouble making time to write. Working 9-5 isn't exactly helping me on my quest and since I'm reeeally new at this, I'm not used to telling myself "get your ass on that chair and start typing".
Don't get me wrong, I love to write, but I have a hard time keeping my focus. So on Monday I said no more. You have to shape up and be more responsible or else you'll never get anything done.
I set a 1k per day rule and told myself I would follow it no matter what. Here, I'd like to confess I have the flaw of wanting to please others and feeling bad when I don't. Even if the one I let down is me. :)
I'm happy to report my little trick worked and I've managed to write 3.5 K up until now. I just hope my resolve isn't weakened in a week. OH well, I'll think of something else.
