I've never paid much attention to this until the Fray's concert, but when they starting playing, "How To Save A Life" the audience was aglow with appreciation. But it wasn't lighters that filled the air but cell phones. There was a sea of cell phones raised into the air as people recorded the song into their phones.

The glow was a sad reminder that the analog world is no more. There are few mysteries left in this world as everything that can be seen or heard can be packaged and replayed for everyone else who didn't experience it the way it was intended.
Went to see the Fray on Monday at Red Rocks. Good concert in general. They actually were best when they went all stripped down and sang acoustic covers (great cover of a Shikira song while their stage director danced almost step for step as Shikira does in her video.
To biggest observation from the concert:
Given this was a hometown concert for the Fray they were sucking up to the hometown audience quite a bit, but it felt so fake, as if they would do and say the same thing in Toledo or Florida as well. Guess they really need a break from the road after 2.5 years of touring.
