Lemme just post the link http://peaceandpandemonium.blogspot.com/ You'd be in love with her camera. it's a Canon somethin'erother. I think if you have a decent camera then you can join that up with photo software you can get some really nice shots, especially if you read the manual. It's the software that really makes those pictures shine. I have a Canon Power Shot A610. You can see the pics on my page and I don't have any software to play with, only the little that comes with Windows. Mine was about $300 when we bought it three years ago.
