When I was younger I used to bug people. Nobody was safe from the inquisitive eye of my camera and I never went anywhere without it. I think I might have made a few enemies.

However, now that I am a senior citizen, I am so glad I did what I did during all those years. Those images last forever. The good - or bad - events are forever frozen in time.

Nowadays, I don't just snap away wildly but I also write little stories to go along with the pictures and that makes the events come alive for me. Oh, but I do go on, don't I?

So, I am married for the second time. I have one son from my first marriage. My second husband has three children from his first marriage.

Yes, love is lovelier the second time around - in our case.

And for all you young married folks with children - hang on to each other. The children will, eventually, leave home and then there will be just the two of you.

And don't forget to take lots of pictures and keep a journal. You'll appreciate the effort in the years ahead.
