The contrast is very strong and punchy. Might work well in B&W, with added grain. Composition is excellent. Nice job.

Yeah, Jackal, I tried it that way as well...I tried it a lot of ways. Ultimately I thought this composition was strongest. What do you all think about the lack of detail in the white of the chair? I considered playing with it in photoshop but part of me really liked the graphic element as it sort of served to underscore the 'out of context' theme.

Really nice ! For some reason the chair reminds me of one I saw sitting in a small family plot in an old cemetary back home in Pennsylvania. It was a long unused plot, the chair, cast iron, looking like it could be folded, painted white, but dingy with age. Inside the low fence surrounding the few graves it sat on one, with it's back flush up against the headstone.
