I spotted this guy as he crossed the bare earth in front of where I was fishing. It was so tiny that thought it was a bug until it hopped once or twice. Getting down close I saw that it was a frog/toad just out of tadpole stage, it still had a little stump of a tail. Hardly bigger than a grain of rice, it was not readily identifiable. Looking at the photos now I think it is a common toad, Bufo bufo. But don't hold me to that identification.
