Oh, thank God I have this place! I have to blog about something that could get read by the person whom it's about. That wouldn't bode well for our friendship. I just have to scream for a second.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Ok, there. That's better.
My best friend, Maureen, whom I blog about often and whom I love like a sister is getting on my very last nerve. I know she is alone right now and that her husband is across the country working a new job, but -GOD- if I have to hear one more time that he's going to make a shit load of money, or that he'll profit 25% of all his $100,000 sales, or how they are going to ski all the time, or do this, that, and the other, I'm going to go off. Does she not get from my "mmm hmmm" that I am sick of hearing about it. I mean, I can only take so much.
I'm happy for them. I am. I love them, and wish them nothing but the best, but there comes a point where talking positively about money becomes braggadocios to those around you.
I get it, Mo. You'll be rich in a few months. I get it. Now, please..for the love of my sanity and patience...STOP!

It could be that thinking of the money is what is getting her thru having him so far away. I don't know if being alone and without him would be very tough on her, but some couples really have trouble dealing with distance for long periods of time.
