Last week was our local Buddy Walk for Down syndrome Awareness, and a fundraiser for our local DSA. Here we are in our matching team T-shirts!

I have just realized that validation by the professionals with whom I consult on behalf of my kids is addictive. The "yes, Lee, your son IS indeed exhibiting the symptoms you are concerned about, you are right to be concerned, and we're here to help." It's my new opiate.

How did that happen? How did I look so forward to sending the kids back to school, and then end up just as busy with 3 of the 4 gone as I was with all of them here. Must be some kind of clerical error.
