I am Like the Earth;

restless, moving, on an endless quest,

Changing, improving, revealing, subducting.

Mother: offering sustenance, protection, comfort, shelter...

full of

High towering mountains of dreams, emotions, hopes and ambition.

Constantly eroded by winds of setbacks and rejection.

Vast empty desert when emotionally drained, quick to blossom again as smiles and kindness rain.

Rich veins of love, friendship, wisdom, loyalty, compassion, unplumbed depths of treasure for some discerning miner, yielding a handful of mud to the shallow seeker

wide flowing Amazon of thoughts and reason, white water rapids of curiosity and imagination.

Good natured, equable, an unruffled lake. A turbulent ocean of surging passion.

Pretty meadows where wildflowers smile, yet dangerously easy to rile.

Quiet, reflective full of tranquility, core of molten magma erupting with intensity, then under cooling lava hiding shamefacedly.

Full of contradictions, within contradictions.

I am
