Is it me, or is this site easier to use than Facebook?
I like Facebook... but this, to me, with my meager skill set is not only easier, but more fun.

Oh, I am a facebook junkie... so I'm not so sure... but maybe it's just that I don't log in here very often so I never get in the swing of things.

I agree. There are interesting comparisons. In some ways, C8B has focused in a way that gets you to focus on the socializing. Did you read the review on Mashable? It was interesting to hear what they said the primary value proposition is for this site - i hadn't thought of it that way, but just because i've been caught up in sort of people, profiles... personalities (which certainly isn't a problem).
