Proverbs 3: 25-26
Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked

for the Lord will be your confidence
and will keep your feet from being snared

These verses today bring such confidence and comfort! To know the Lord is to tap into a vast reservoir of love and support! And here we see some of the benefits of that! To have no fear of sudden disaster - one may come, but my reaction to it will be different - and if ruin does come to my life - it won't be the same as what comes to the wicked - because my backup is Jesus Christ - and the wicked sadly, don't have that! I know that my Savior can pick me back up from any 'disaster' and set my world right again.

To have confidence in the Lord - I was instantly reminded of that verse snippet - 'If God is for us, who can be against?' If that is where my confidence is - then I can put my feet on the path God places me and walk forward in the assurance my faith in Him gives me - on His Path there will be no snares!
