Yesterday was a day of requested prayer in our house - and later in the day it was a celebration of how God works in our lives!

Early in the morning, a phone call came in - a gentleman who had suffered a stroke was now having heart problems, the heartbeat was out of control. His wife called and asked my hubby to call him and pray with him before he went to the O.R. He did so - and later in the day went to see this gentleman in the hospital to see how he was doing - and .....when they took him to the O.R., they discovered that the heartbeat had regulated itself, and the procedure was unnecessary! Wonderful answer to heartfelt prayers!

A few days ago, another gentleman was going in for prostate cancer surgery. He had moved up his wedding so that he could have time with his new wife before this happened, as the prognosis was not all that good. We all prayed for him - personally, and as a church body. Yesterday, we got the call that all the tests had been completed after the surgery, and contrary to what all the surgeons had originally thought, the tests showed that chemo or any other further treatment was not necessary at this time - and he was given a clean bill of health - to be checked up on in a year! A dramatic turn of events - and wonderful to see God working through the hands of the surgeons!

Quite a day!
