I am a SAHM to two daughters, ages 5 & 3, a wife to an overworked and underpaid Federal Employee, and doggie mom to a large black Labrador Retriever.
Keep pace with me a spunky, slightly meshugana, registered Banana Republican, amateur sewer, cappuccino-aholic, oenophilic, epicurean, Becky-Home-Ecky, type-A personality as I tell our tales of life abroad.
We've lived overseas for the past 5 years.... 2003 - 2005 in Muscat, Oman and 2005 - 2008 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Nothing is ever as seemless as we'd like, is it? The job, uhhh, I just don't think it's going to work out, and I feel like a big loser because of it. Since I was hired, we got all of the kids' fall athletic schedules and my husband has been called on a lot of overtime- it's been really hard! I thought about asking her if she would be open to me coming back when my schedules not so hectic.

I'm great, thanks. Spending too much time procrastinating about some homework I need to do, but other than that, I'm good. Went school shopping today for the three of us; that HURT!
