The show today (June 30th) had the new male Doctor Matt Hunter asking Damien Spinnelli (The Jackal) questions about his personality and wondering if he wanted to do some testing.
The Dr remarked on how Spinelli spoke in reference to himself in the third person
lacked small talk skills
stayed focus on one topic
The words were never used - Asperger Syndrome or autism, but it sure seemed to be the direction they were going and then like that it was mentioned to never bring it up again.
Interesting that just this past week another daytime Drama - Days of our Lives is having an autism storyline play out with the diagnosis this summer. I watched that show dozens of years ago and still know some of the characters from seeing commercials on Soap Net. I viewed the show on June 24th, the first day of this specific story and could not add another hour to my daytime viewing. I am catching up by reading spoilers at the soap central boards
Another soap series that airs nights on Soap Net starts again on July 22 for season 2 - Night Shift. This is an original series that is a spin off (sort of) from General Hospital. Jagger (Antonio Sabato Jr) will be on this after a long absense from GH. His son will be on the autism spectrum, name is Stone.

Yes, but we all knew Spinelli had Aspergers...it was just a matter of time before it was figured out by others. Question is, what are they going to do with the storyline? Love that you watch GH..DVR from Soapnet and watch at night... T.
