We had finally gotten our campsite set up, and Hubby and the kids went down to the water. When I arrived a few minutes later and saw them, I knew I had to try and take a photo (even though it was almost dark and I do not have a fancy camera). I confess that I did ask them not to move, but other than that, the photo was completely natural. We make this trip every summer, so my kids have grown up with this place. Every year, I take a photo of my son and daughter standing by the trees. I'm going to post about that soon, as I've kept the photos together (I just put the new one in the frame every year and leave the others behind it) and they mean a lot to me. If you have started an annual tradition, I strongly suggest that you begin taking a photo (the same photo) every year. It's fun. (And yes, this summer, I hope to take another "Family Sunset," because my son is as tall as my husband now, and I know that will be very cool to compare with this one. Thanks for the compliments :)
