I posted a portion of the Fitna film in my videos here, knowing that there would be more controversy over its content. Admittedly, it went viral in the conservative circles, and I live by the adage "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer," so I posted it. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/04/08/indonesia.youtube/index.html Now, Indonesia's Communications and Information Minister has ordered that YouTube be blocked in response to the film showing up there. When I pulled film from that site, I couldn't find a full version of it in English, and posted a link to it in the description. The majority of the films that came up on YouTube when I searched for "Fitna" were spoofs. I'm wondering if the Indonesian authorities missed that when they searched the site. Regardless, I still find it amusing when people who claim to have great faith get upset when their religions are scrutinized or criticized by outsiders. If one's faith is strong, shouldn't it bear the slings and arrows of non-believers with ease? And instead of censorship, isn't a more proactive response a campaign to prove the film wrong?
