I called him en route to my dr's appt and asked is it cake to which he replied yup. After reorganizing and setting it up sensibly he thinks he might have an hour to spare for homework.

I am so proud of him, his first real job since his life changed. Amazing how disease and or disablilty can change your outlook forever and mostly only those who have had some experience understand. This was a huge step for him!

He's had alot of firsts. Walking again after four years. First time he is in college and is enjoying what he is learning. First wife, never thought he'd get married. First time setting up house as a partner, not moving into some one elses set up place.
I am sure I am missing some, but those are the biggies.

I wish I could say I got as much accomplished as he this week, but no the sinus mess took me down. I discussed the mrsa with my gp and he said almost everyone has it and unless its life threatening, like with my mother its treated with bactroban. He then asked my "doesn't that hurt" re; my nose ring. I said "no its healed."

It doesn't hurt that bad to pierce your eyes tear up a little, but that's it. I may get a stud or two before I leave, but I kinda like the ring. I have never been all that subtle.

I wish my week had been as productive, but all those things on his end have taken a huge weight off my shoulders. In my past relationship, I had to do everything. It means so much to me that he has handled this even though its all new to him. Shared responsibility, what a great concept.

So today, my husband who took a flying leap back into life. Today, I honor him, Namaste!
