Hi I am jojo. I located myself in medical, well because I am a trained Occupational Therapist. I no longer use my skills for money, they now are very important life skills.

My life as we know it now started with a stubborn therapist refusing to drop a patient. Well her leg was caught, so I could have broken it. Anyway 2 cortisone shots later, I have a permanent chronic pain condition. Then the rest of my body went to crap. That was eight years ago.

I learned to live mainly using one arm, compensating for the blown shoulder.

Last spring weird things started happening to me. My knee kept buckling and as the summer and heat went on, it got worse. We went to my dad's childhood memory spot, white lake N.C. After we returned my left hand went partially numb.

So, my good pain doc ordered an MRI, lesions were found in my spinal cord and one tiny one in my brain.

I spent until this spring in denial.I was not going to have M.S., well the denial worked until I finally consented to the spinal tap.

Since March I have been taking copaxone shots daily. Do they will they help? Who knows? I simply couldn't risk the side effects of the interferon groups.

So, that's jojo and her labels, disabled, M.S. Patient living with chronic pain.

The jojo other people see is a mother to three children, one step daughter. This jojo is a newly wed trying her best to make it to her husband across the country. SOON!

This jojo is stubborn and trying to mesh her determination and M.S. fatigue levels.

This jojo is trying to take life one day at a time and live in the moment and not let fears become anger or frustration.
