Ditto Gallery is proud to welcome 3 young, strong, urbanite painters in the “Urban Movement” exhibit beginning May 30, 2008, Jim Beckner, Ken Valastro, and Tiffany Williams. All three artists have a unique and recognizable sense about them but collectively they reveal thick, buttery swells of brush strokes, impressionistic freedom and intuitive ability. Beckner, Valastro and Williams provide us with a juicy build up of paint affording an impression of sublime painterly quality, rich in color and imagery of everyday downtown and urban life. As a city is bustling and gearing up for the Democratic National Convention this exhibit located in the middle of the action, captures the beauty and warmth of urban life.
The striking originals are available for sale, and for the first time ever these three artists are offering giclées of their work only at Ditto Gallery, through Ditto’s very on, Art-on-Demand system. Located in the Golden Triangle Museum District, Ditto Gallery showcases a diverse selection of local and international artist’s originals and giclées in a relaxed creative environment.
