Everyone falls in love. Everyone falls in love once, twice, sometime three times in their life times. There is no specific time for this fenomenon. You can choose to love and be open to it, but you can't really plan for it.
However, this wonderful and simultaniously potentially heart breaking condition has many symptoms. You can see it, feel it, breathe it, taste it, hear it.
It's in the way you look at eachoter. In the way you lean against him and he wraps his arms arround you. Love can be felt in the way his breath tickles your cheek as he whispers in your ear, or manifested in the small things you do for him. Eachother's kisses, hugs, laughter... it can all demonstrate love.
Though some people may see it as dangerous, it is worth while. A person that refuses to let someone in their hearts is lonely and severally less happy. Pretend all you want, if you refuse to be open to the possibility of loving someone else you know there is something missing.
First I experienced what I thought was love. Though I did care for this person, in the end it wasn't what I was looking for. It wasn't that intense feeling of rightness, warmth, and yes a slight trickle of nervous fear, that I felt when I saw my husband for the first time.
I grew up thinking that I was likely destined to be alone for the rest of my days until he came along. Things have not been easy for us (what romance is ever easy?), but now they are looking up. We faught hard for eachother, and at the end of the day I know everything is worth our while when I hear him tell me he loves me. Everything is right when I look at our son.
Everything feels right, and in it's place, and as it should be.
Well, I'll be in route to Hawaii soon. I can't wait to see my hubby!! I'll miss my baby though. I feel strange about leaving him for a week. Life is full of bitter sweet moments.
Un Millon de gracias!
