We've put some game in the freezer recently and now it's time to put some on the table. I have attached an image here and also have a picture of the finished product on my profile page. The picture shows some venison bqackstrap steaks and doves I grilled up a few nights ago. Some people feel deer meat is a little gamey, so if you ever prepare venison, cut up your steaks and soak it in milk for about 4 hours to tame it down a little bit. Next tenderize it with some forks, season it with your favorite dry season mixture (I like McCormicks Montreal Steak seasoning) and slap it on the grill. For the dove I like to breast it out (no bones), put a slice of jalepeno pepper and cream cheese in the middle and wrap it up with a half slice of bacon. Mmmm Good.
