Hey y'all...
I've started fiddling around with macro photography--closeup shots of food, products, stuff like that. I put a few new pictures on my profile. In case you can't tell, I have a bit of a coffee fetish. (C:
I'd be grateful if you'd take a look and add a comment or two, especially if you're an experienced macro photographer. I promise I'll stop by your profile and do the same for you!
Hey y'all...yes, I'm still here. I've been busy with travel, end of the company's fiscal year, and a reorg we went through last week. I've also been trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to keep the plates spinning with the 4 blogs I either author or contribute to. Oh yeah, I'm training for a marathon in my spare time. WHEW. I need a nap after writing all that.
Anyway--I've seen several kind and supportive comments from fellow Buzzers about the picture I posted for January's contest. Thanks for visiting my profile and commenting, and I'm trying to return the favor and view/comment all of your pictures.
I'm also sorry I haven't dropped by more of your profiles and added comments, even if just to say "hi". I'm getting back to doing that, also.
See you soon...
Jim
I'm a competitive guy by nature. Anytime I see a number or a ranking associated with my name in any way, I naturally want to better that number.
I keep an eye on my position my BuzzRanking here on Cre8Buzz. I've been hovering in the mid- to low-60s. Imagine my surprise today when I find out my buzz ranking is 55. WHOOHOO!
Uh, so what did I do to improve that number? How does the BuzzRanking work, anyway? I gather it has something to do with the number of friends you have, etc., but was wondering what I can do to move that up a few more notches.
Of course, I don't see anyone here as "competition", it's more of a competition with myself...

I've been pimping the heck out of my "Guest Photo Fridays" on my external blog, Photos from Jim. The rules are here:
http://photosfromjim.blogspot.com/2007/11/guest-photo-fridays.html
But the bottom line is, send me a photo that you like, and I'll feature it on my blog with a link back to you. You get all the glory, honor, and praise that goes along with being a guest artist on some shlock's blog (the "schlock" being me...).
So...keep those photos coming, would ya? (C;
Jim
