This photo was taken early one morning whilst trekking through the Amazon Rainforest. We canoed down the river in the dark so that we could spot Caimen with out torches (their eyes reflect light like cats eyes in the dark). As the sun began to rise we stopped and floated motionless in a large opening in the river to savour the moment, nobody uttering a word. Nothing prepared me for the colours and the sounds of that morning. The temperature was already in the mid nineties and the humdity was well over 90%. A moment in time that I will never forget.......
