I knew that I wanted to be a writer when I was six, but somehow I got diverted into law school, practicing law, teaching, training, admissions consulting...and then an unexpected baby girl, a tough sixty-something redheaded newspaper editor and an aging rock star saved me from all that and brought me to a place where I'm happily making a great living as a writer (and my mission in life is to convince you that you can, too).

Like my background, my blogs are varied: writing, religion, socio-political commentary influenced by my legal background and...well...dogs. That's something for everyone, right? Especially you.
