We had a new addition added to a friends family this holiday. MJ was born Thursday weighing in at 1 lb 9 oz. She was 3 months early. She is a Rock Star though. Already sucking, usually happens around 32 weeks, crying, kicking and trying to pull important tubes out...like her vent tube. They took her off the vent after 2 days, and she is doing wonderful. She has the skinniest legs, and perfect feet. Her diaper is the size of my palm, and her nose is the perfect little button. She is going to start taking regular breast milk today, and that is another shocker. The nurses keep telling her not to grow up to fast already! She is a miracle in so many ways.
Between trips to the hospital, and spending as much time as I can with the family, it was a chaotic weekend. The holidays are that way when you have family all over, divorced parents, in-laws and a step child.
