I'm a minister and I'm always getting in trouble with the evangelical church. For awhile I bowed out of the fray, but I KNOW there are a lot of Jesus-y people out there who are trying to find a middle ground betwen conservative faith and no faith. So...I'm trying to reach those folks so we can help each other find a way.

One of the things recovering evangelicals always have to deal with is sex -- the sex they're having, or not, and what they are going to teach their kids about sexual morals. The teens-and-sex thing has been on my plate lately with the kids I mentor, so I thought I'd throw up a few words. I just posted a new aritcle on Magpie Girl entitled, "Why I'm Not Teaching my Kids Abstinence." Let me know what you think, and drop some verbage in the comments if you have any tips for those of us who's children's brains have become pickled by hormones.
