Attitude: a person's mental state of mind which causes them to act a certain way.
We've got two choices in life with regards to attitude, we can have the right attitude or the wrong attitude.
In general, I've found that people with a positive feeling about themselves, more appreciation for what they have, and a less judgemental perspective, tend to have more of the "right" attitude than "wrong."
If you aren't feeling proud or good or happy with yourself or your life...
Are you the type who is busy shooting down everyone else's capabilities and accomplishments to make yourself feel better?
I've seen this self defense mechanism in those around me with a negative mind...It hopes to level the playing field and make the person feel better about themselves.
Or, are you the type to self sabotage yourself with comparison's to others so much so that you feel you'll never measure up?
I've seen this also bringing on the wrong attitude. This mindset only serves to excuse the person and give them justification to not do anything at all. "I'm never as good, why bother trying?"
The problem with either of these mindsets: This person is so busy identifying themselves negatively in relation to others, it is difficult for them to see the strength of their own merits.
Without comparison, the clarity of each individual's uniqueness, strengths, skills is easier to be see.
There wouldn't be any "stoppy" behaviours, which is a wrong attitude to have, but only room for continual growth, acceptance, and development.
It is also the strong person who can lower their defenses, accept their own weaknesses, and recognize them...this brings about the right attitude...
How much further could anyone of us go forward then if we had that right attitude? Unlimited....
