Why is it that when you buy a book to learn a new technique, somehow they leave out a whole lot?
I bought this book full of really cool tiny tiles - made into all kinds of cool projects and I thought "Christmas presents!". But, boy - the learning curve has been steep!

This is the fourth try - the third with the correct paints - and I'm still not happy with how they look, and I can't figure out why. They just don't look as good as the ones in the book - yet I'm following the instructions FROM the book. Wierd.

Anyway - thought I'd toss them up here and see what y'all think - while I go work on Round 5! The newest ones are in my gallery here on the buzz - should be front and center!
