Just in time for those of you looking to lose w8...today is the beginning of W8 Loss Wednesday!
What does W8 (Weight) Loss Wednesday! mean? It means every Wednesday, I'm going to produce a weekly vidcast, documenting my w8 lose journey. I'll post the results in my Video Gallery every Wednesday afternoon. This is “roller-coaster” scary.
How long are we going to do this? We are going to commit to the first 4 Wednesdays in January. If things are going well (ie I’m losing w8) we may continue. But they say it takes about 21 days to create a habit, so I’m committing to this vidcast for 4 weeks. After that, we’ll re-evaluate and see how things go.
Why W8 Loss Wednesday!? (1)Because I need to lose some weight to stay healthy and increase my quality of life. (2)It's kind of a social networking experiment. Can a group of people at Cre8Buzz rally around a cause and effect personal change. What if there was a placed to go or check in, on a regular basis, to either motivate or be motivated. A place where w8 loss initiatives, plans, ideas can be shared.
How to lose W8? I am not going to tell you how to lose W8. That’s between you and your doctor. What I am bringing to the table is accountability and a visual representation of my personal w8 lose endeavor. You work your plan, I’ll work mine. We will discuss tactics, strategy, thought processes, psychology, etc. But I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV.
Who is W8 Loss Wednesday! for? Anyone. But I have to say this w8 Loss process is going to be from my perspective…a GUY’S perspective. I hope the guys in Cre8Buzz find this helpful because there’s not a lot of places for guys to go to get help. Guys don’t like going to meetings made up mostly of bigger women to weigh in and get advice for how to eat better and exercise. At least this guy doesn’t. I think guys want to know how to lose the gut, feel better about themselves and be a better man for their woman. But what motivates guys is probably different than what motivates women. Am I wrong? I believe guys go about the w8 lose process differently than women. Men and women are goal-oriented, interested in strategy, tactics and execution. But a Guy wants to high five someone when they lose some weight or hit a goal, not get a charm to put on some charm bracelet. Can I get an amen?!
So be honest, be open and be willing to help each other. Weigh in on Wednesday, get on a plan that works for you (under a doctor’s supervision) and come by and post your results. Be real. No crybabies!

I am in from the point that I need to stop eating junk every night for dinner because I can't find time to eat good food. (the ol' mom syndrome.. take care of everyone but myself) I will be here cheering for you and looking forward to the videos!!

No crybabies! I think this is great Scott! I think the max anyone can healthily lose in a month is 10 pounds, and that's hard to do. I say if you lose 5 then you are a rockstar! I know that you will be happy with the results of this experiment, and I hope that you lose all the W8 you hope to. You can do it!!! We'll be here to have your back :) er, watch it disappear ;)
