This photo is so terrific -- I think the black and white really accents the sorta worn-out feeling of the boat house. It feels like a day at the end of the season. Very evocative photo.

I like the contrast between the b/w and the color version. They both have such a different "feeling" to them. I love b/w photos, they revealed so much.

heh, we already talked about this, but i'll join the conversation here. i like both versions, but my favourite is the colour because the red stands out so impressively. the colour version almost looks b/w but for the red and i like that contrast. :)

I love the symmetry in this with the reflections. I think the B & W version works better than the colour version because there are less distractions from the basic shapes and the reflections. In the colour version my eye was seeing the rust on the panels around the water and the discolourations in the paintwork on the wooden paneling on the walls. I guess the contrasts are much simpler on the eye in shades of grey. Great job.

I love this photo!! The reflection is awesome....plus I am always drawn to groups of threes.
