I facilitated a Spiritual Drawing Workshop at Bancroft Spiritualist Church this week....
I normally do my spiritual art on my laptop PC, but that wasn't practical for a large group to try. Instead, I had everyone work with wax crayons instead. When I first started to draw spirit I worked in shades of grey, as trying to figure out which colour to use got in the way of the drawing itself; so I limited the participants to using a maximum of 2 coloured crayons.

We've been out and about on our bikes today at the Marston Vale Forest Centre. The hawthorn is in full bloom and I got some some lovely pictures of it to go with the pictures of the lilac I took there last week.
The kids are getting more confident on their bikes and enjoying the long (for them) ride. They are always glad to stop and take break when Ian and I stop to take pictures though. We must have worn our eldest (8) out... he was too tired to read when he went to bed - and that's a first!
There are points in our lives when we realise something is missing - there is a hole in our lives that we need to fill with something. Some will look for a new romantic interest, new material possessions, or something more destructive such as alcolhol. But these things only bring temporary relief from our feeling of being incomplete. They are simply ways of distracting ourselves from what we are really feeling. What people are usually missing is self acceptance.....

I posted this on the Photography Forum as well...
You need to use the same code that the "Insert Image" button on blog posts creates. Here's a picture of that code to refer to - I can't add it as text, so don't try to copy/paste this:

The words between the square brackets [ ] are the label for the image and the bit between the round brackets ( ) is the path to the image.
You can find out the path to an image by right clicking on it and selecting properties from the pop up menu. Look for the Location item on the window that pops up. For files here on Cre8Buzz, highlight from "/user_files" to the end of the file name, missing off the bits after .jpg
Here it is in action....

And here's one from my gallery on my own website (not on Cre8buzz) - you have to include the full path

I've figured out how to use the thumbnail size and medium size pictures that are created for photos in our galleries, in blog posts instead of the full size images.
Use the Insert Image link at the bottom of the post entry window, to add the full size version of your image to the post and then edit the filename as follows to get the size image you want to use.
The thumbnail images have _thumb appended to the name of the file before the .jpg extension.
![]()
so, blackbird1.jpg becomes blackbird1_thumb.jpg
To use the images that are displayed in your gallery when you click on a thumbnail, use the name of the file with "_medium" between the name of the image and .jpg

so blackbird1.jpg becomes blackbird1_medium.jpg
This means I can upload fairly large pictures to my gallery so people can see my pictures in detail, and use them in blog posts as well without having to upload special sizes, that will fit in the blog window.
