Hello, my name is Lin, and I am author of Telling It Like It Is. Discussions include: writing tips, dating, marriage, divorce, children, teens, parenting, blended families, caring for our elderly parents, grief and mourning, friendship, men, woman and an occasional rant.

I'm mother to six now-grown children, three boys and three girls. Whew! All the joys and woes of parenting definitely give me topics to write about.

I'm also heavily involved in Genealogy research, tracing my roots. I have thus found a cousin I never knew about, and I just met her last weekend. Isn't it funny how you can have so much family, cousins that you never were told about, or never knew existed?
