I am an absolute, convoluted mess. I have a wide array of interests and can talk to almost anyone about any topic, yet, through a horribly ironic personality flaw, I have problems making any type of long standing friendships. I attribute this to a long list of possibilities. Perhaps it is due to the fact that my interests are so far flung that I cannot find any one person that can travel this contorted landscape with me. Others may be off put by my stances on certain issues or my non-commital approach to other topics. Petty jealousies and a struggle for an Alpha position within a friendship can be attributed to many a friendship's failure. There is also the remote possibility that I am a complete asshole.
