Why I Started a Blog Posted 8 months ago

I actually started a e-newsletter before blogs in which I could communicate with my clients and friends. In being a fitness trainer for over 13 years, I've seen people scammed over and over. It could be the magic diet pill, or the ab-blaster machine. Unfortunately with great marketing and the right celebrity endorsement, anything can sell. Can you say "Thigh Master"?

I've frequently tell my clients that I could sum up all of the "secrets" to losing weight and being fit and write it on one Post It note.

Here are the secrets.

Eat as close to natural as possible.
Train hard.
Get enough sleep.

It may sound too simplistic, but there is absolutely no escaping that these are the keys.

The more you try to analyse it such as percentages of carb, fats, proteins, measuring grams, and so on and so on, you'll come up with excuses.

Look at your own situation. Maybe give yourself a score.

Now, do something about it.

If I can be of any help, please leave me a comment, or post on my regular site.

Best,
Stephen

I've worked out all of my life. Started out as sports in school to cope w/ my home life... became what I did... even through the 9 ironmans I did in my mid to late 30's it was as simple as your "post it" note. Really. Such great advice. Some of my very good friends are world class athletes, world record holders.. and now coaches... their advice... very much the same as the "post it" note. I love that!
