I gotta give it up for all ya’ll buzzers. I have played on Facebook, Myspace, Mybloglog and others, but I’m seeing ya’ll doing stuff I have never seen before. cre8Buzz folks are bringin’ social networking to a whole new level. We (cre8Buzz) never, ever expected to see some of the cool things ya’ll are doing and you should be applauded.

When we thought of social networking we thought of folks connecting and talking with old friends and making new ones like on Facebook or Myspace. We also saw Social Networking as a way to network like on Linked in and to deliver cool relevant information. What we didn’t see coming was collaboration and robust interaction. cre8Buzz “buzzers” have been working and playing together doing all kinds of crazy cool things on the buzz.

We got mad props for all ya’ll and the things ya doing;

Photography Community - Monthly Photo Assignment

-Each Month members of the photography community take a picture based on a theme. Themes have included; “Household Objects out of Place”, “Contrast”, and “Food” Ya’ll take some amazing pics. I look forward to the assignment each month just to see what ya’ll come up with.

Writing Community - Monthly Writing Assignment

-Yup, ya get it. The writing community does a writing assignment each month, with community members writing short stories around specific topics; Topic have included; “Guess Who is Coming to Dinner”, “Things Left Unsaid”, and Family. Like the photographers, there are some impressive writers on the buzz.

Wine Community - Virtual Wine Tasting

-I know, nothing like drinkin’ a bottle of wine with a gang of ya favorite online friends. Folks then share their thoughts on the wine, and rate it.

cre8Buzz Virtual Holiday Party!

-It brought down the house. It started at 4:00 MST and went well into the night. Folks from all over the buzz brought something for the party; Food (great Holiday Recipes), Video Games, Music (Holiday Music), Drinks (slammin’ drink and shot recipes, Eggnog Recipes, and Wine recommendations), decorations and more. All provided and laid out on folks profile pages. It was a thumpin’ night. I think there both virtual and real hang-overs the next day.

When ya think about, this is what communities are all about; interaction. They do more than just say “hey”, they rally around common interests, share ideas, provide support and look to make their communities a better place. With out a doubt, cre8Buzz Buzzers are clearly doing this and more. Ya’ll are bringin’ a new era of social interaction to the table. Ya’ll are the bomb!

So; who is coming to our next party? We’ll provide the taxi rides home?
