Ok, it was rough but someone had to take one for the team. I was forced to spend a long weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I know, I know, you are thinking “poor Keith.” Yes, thank you, I appreciate your (mock, ahem) sympathy.
What was funny is how tired I felt after a few days in the sun and on the beach. Sure, part of it is the effects of the margaritas but what was really unusual was how my calf muscles hurt. I pride myself as a bit of an amateur athlete and have a pretty good sense of my body. However, I couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out why my calves hurt. I certainly didn’t exercise them (ha!). Then, someone reminded me that I had walked on the beach. How do I walk in the sand? Well, in this sand it was mostly with my toes leading, putting pressure on my calves and stretching the muscles a bit. Duh. I would not have come to this obvious conclusion on my own. My way of looking at things lately is to equate muscle pain to hard exercise. In other words, my perspective is limited, and sometimes other people have the answer that I miss. In this case, what was obvious to someone else was a total mystery to me.
Ok, so what’s my point? Well, the old cliché is that “two heads are better than one.” We here at the ‘Buzz try and remember this as we tackle problems. It takes a bit of humility to accept that other people may have experienced what we struggle with and that others may come at the problem in a different way. In fact, we’ve recruited a handful of cre8buzzers to join us and increase our collective intelligence to make the site even better.
Stay tuned for more details! It’s gonna be big…..

I remember reading a post around here somewhere, talking about how admirable it is to go full throttle on a vacation…only to come back to the real world the next day, and power through it too. No vacation from your vacation. Maybe the tequila caused some added sand stumbleage? Tequila can cause one to use all sorts of muscles they don’t normally exercise. Put some ice on it!
Glad your back!! Can’t wait to see pictures!
Everything going on at the buzz is BIG! Big time!! It’s a thrill to watch the wheels turn.
