The one thing I know (or Riding in the Dark)
Popularity: 8%
If I was to suggest a theme for my posts, it’s about the uncertainty of how we are going to accomplish our mission at Cre8buzz. It not about whether we will accomplish it, but how. It reminds me of one of my favorite events, 24 Hour Mountain Bike racing. At some point, you have to strap lights on your head and ride at night. The trail becomes much more difficult to manuver. No one rides along with you and tells you where to turn, where to go fast and where to slow down. You have to rely on your skills, experience and instincts.
Things WILL get in your way. You will need to turn. And sometimes, bad stuff will happen. While you are not entirely alone, it’s ultimately up to you to finish a lap and come home.
We face that kind of challenge daily. We are relying on our skills, experience and instinct and are plugging our way through a night lap. What I know is that we will make it back.
A big reason for my confidence are posts like this: What Can You Do With MyBlogLog? Tips from 18 Members. It’s a post about how to use MyBlogLog. We love MyBlogLog. It’s a great tool to get your stuff in front of other bloggers. It has some great promotional features to share blogs with other bloggers and interact with them. It’s popular and well-used.
Great. Seriously, we love it. We think Cre8buzz takes it a step further. We want to make it simple to find bloggers with similar interests AND have people who don’t blog find you. The richness and depth of the experience can be much greater for those with a passion. We wrote about this a couple weeks ago and the comments blew us away. If you didn’t see it, check it out: Does this thing work????. So, when we are feeling a little fatigued or frustrated by not seeing the path clearly, it’s great to see others with the similar purpose having success. And who knows, if we catch them, we’ll be sure to thank them for lighting the way.
What do the readers of this post think? Are Cre8buzz and MyBloglog competitive or complementary? How do you use each?

I haven’t used MyBlogLog, but have used other networking sites. Cre8buzz blows them all away though. Great sense of community, good break-down of interests, and an Antman who actually answers your questions when you need a hand.

mybloglog is okay, was great when it first”came out”, the BC took hold…now this! I have to say I like cre8buzz and the communities. Has a whole different ‘feel’ to it.
It does take it one step further.
And to top it off, I cant even log into mybloglog anymore since they changed over…
digging the buzz!

I was reading the advice the myblogloggers gave and I think it might be good advice for cre8buzz users as well … don’t leave generic comments - if you like something specific about my page or pics or vids or blog, I am very flattered. If it’s not personal in some way, I’ll think you just want recognition.

I have been a member at MyBlogLog since Feb this year and have found many new friends through it, but mainly now follow their blogs and don’t really bother with the site. The constant comments just promoting someones site/post or when the community messaging was introduced, the spamming ‘I don’t usually do this, but….’ to all members of a community have taken the edge off it for me.
Cre8Buzz is much more personal, more a family feel. You don’t get the feeling that people are hiding behind a mask - more honest.
