Let’s face it ya’ll, marketing, good marketing, can be the key between success and failure, exposure and anonymity, winning and losin’. But good marketing ain’t easy to come by. It seems there are too many bad examples of marketing and not enough good. Knowin’ this, I got a little “Shout Out” love for ya! It’s my boy Cord Silverstein at Marketing Hipster.

I’ve pointed ya to a few of Cord’s posts in the past, however today I’m given a straight up “Shout Out” to him. Cord is a quiet master. His posts are precise, well thought out, well researched and robust. What makes Cord great is his how well he blends his apparent love of marketing with his profession. Ya gotta check him out. Cord’s got an eye, he looks at things from a different point of view. My boy sees the marketing angle in everything. He has these glasses that help him see it all, every angle! I’ve tried to heist em, but my boy’s got em on lock down. So I read his blog instead. It is the closest I can get to having the glasses myself. Think of the Hipster’s blog as a new era marketing trade rag. I’m tellin’ ya my boy is tight!

Remember now ya’ll, this is the Web 2.0 world. So the Hipster isn’t afraid to step outside the marketing world. He ain’t afraid to tackle all kinds of topics. Cord is also entertaining. He’s got a kickin writtin style. It’s quick, captivating, straight ahead and light. You’ll get through 4 or 5 posts and not realize it.

So, yo, ya’ll ya gotta give him a look. If ya wanna be on the good side of marketing, then the Hipster is for you, if not, don’t read him, but don’t blame me if no one gives your stuff any love!
