p.s. …. I love you!

I’m beginning to feel like that convenient friend who only calls you when she needs something. I’ve begun making excuses for why I haven’t been around much lately… ‘oh, work is kicking my butt and I can’t think about anything else,’ or ‘these darn summer colds, I just need to get some sleep,’ or even ‘you know how it is, with the kids back in school I can’t get on the computer as much at night.’

The truth is… all of that, but not. Yes, work is picking up after the summer slow down and I am busier than I have ever been. Yes, allergies that come with the changing of the seasons can drain every bit of energy I have. And, yes once school begins the home computer is off limits most evenings, being regulated to homework and class projects.

But in any good relationship, to make it work, it takes work. I wasn’t an alpha member of Buzz, having only joined last November, but I am coming up fast on my one year anniversary. I owe a lot to cre8Buzz. It was here that I met most of the blog friends I have now.

I came here not knowing much about blogging, and from the buzz-ships I made here, I learned invaluable lessons in how to produce an entertaining blog, and I hope, have made lifelong friends. I’ve even learned some basis html coding, can’t get that just anywhere. I’ve invited friends to join and have enjoyed watching how welcome they were made to feel and have lived vicariously through them as they rose to the top of the rankings.

I have also been amazed that despite my frequent, and often extended absences, my own rankings are still remarkably high. (I still don’t understand them, but those numbers are fun to watch.)

Can I promise that I will be buzzing around more regularly? Probably not, but I can promise that I will be here when I can, as often as I can, and as long as I can. Because, truly, the Buzz and the Anthill are the best community around.

Oh, my, how I can relate to this!
Though my circumstances are different, there are just as many projects pulling at my time as yours, so the results are so similar.
This forum has given me, too, a place to stretch and grow, and actually do more - the genuineness of the buzz makes that an easy and fun thing to do!

Thanks girl, we appreciate your support. We try hard. We know we need to do more. We know we don’t have as much of the cool stuff as the big boys. But we have ya’ll and that means a lot.
