I am answering the call to duty here at Cre8Buzz. Things are starting to plateau. Antman and his partners need our help to kick it up a notch. In order to survive, we need to encourage good content and recruit new members.

I came to the Buzz to gain more visibility and to become a better blogger. I have found one of the friendliest, supportive communities here and made many new blog friends. Through participating in contests like Faithful Fridays / Count Your Blessings, trying my hand at one of Sew & Sew’s writing assignment and making comments on Anthill posts, I have also become a more well rounded individual.

I have noticed in my SpongeBad MommyPants experiment that it is easy to get a decent rank with a bit of work. The more fulfilling part of the Buzz, getting to know other bloggers, sometimes gets overlooked in the never-ending pursuit of Top Rank.

The Cre8Buzz Scavenger Hunt

I propose a series of contests and games and would like to kick things off with a Cre8Buzz Scavenger Hunt! We will have a list of Buzzers to find, for example:

Name 2 Buzzers that are related.

Find 3 Buzzers with 4 or more kids.

Name a Buzzer that likes to ski….. yatta, yatta, yatta…

My good friend Birdie has agreed to help me. She has been extremely active and really taken the time to get to know many of you. I could use a bit more help and the following is what I need volunteers for:

1. Committee members to help make up rules, questions and help judge this contest.

2. Prizes! Every good contest need cool prizes! Many of us have businesses that might be able to donate some nifty swag like T-shirts, Jewelry, Toys, Books…. The more the merrier.

3. Participants. We need as many of you as possible to take part.

Let me know what you think and how you are able to help! Future contests should include a recruiting contest, creating the best Buzz about Cre8Buzz and other programs to make our community a better ( and bigger!) place.

    Hey girl, ya can count on some cre8Buzz swag for the winners. T-Shirts, mugs etc. Anything from the buzz store.

    This is a slammin’ idea! I wanna play . . . OK I get it, I can’t but it’ll be fun to watch!

    I can donate a few prize packages left over from my book review contest. They are a cleverly crafted mix of current and old merchandise that we want to clear out!
